McDonough has pioneered wellness in the legal workplace with an enhanced Wellness Program that is best in class among employers in the Sacramento region and Bay Area.

The Wellness Program includes:

Annual Health Faire
"Investment Hour" credit to attorneys for wellness activity participation
Cash incentives and prizes to all Wellness Program participants
Free healthy snacks daily
Monthly or bi-monthly in-house workshops from local health experts on topics including; nutrition, meditation, exercise, weight control, stress management, alternative medicine, and healthy cooking
On-site massages (firm sponsored, employee-paid)
On-site personal wellness coaching
On-site Pilates instruction (firm sponsored and partially paid)
Free Cardio Salsa Class
Free Line Dancing Class
On-site yoga instruction (firm sponsored and partially paid)
Twice-weekly wellness runs and walks
Web-based "Wellness Tracker" software to self-monitor program participation and earned compensation/credits

Through a partnership with third-party provider, Sutter Health Partners, employees may elect to enter the Live Well For Life wellness program. Participants become more involved with their day-to-day health and learn how to make lifestyle choices that contribute to a lifetime of physical and mental well-being. The Live Well For Life program includes confidential health evaluations, ongoing education, personal on-site or self-directed wellness coaching, progress monitoring, and financial incentives.
