Professional Experience

Pat is the Practice Group Leader for the firm’s Real Estate practice group. She has practiced real estate at McDonough Holland & Allen PC since her admission to the State Bar of California in 1983.

As a transactional real estate attorney, Pat’s practice includes the negotiation and documentation of real estate acquisitions and sales, leases, loans and other real estate-based transactions. She assists residential and commercial developers, as well as institutional investors, in acquiring real property. She assists institutional investors is acquiring developed real property. She assists commercial developers in the leasing of property, including industrial, office and retail leasing. She assists residential and commercial developers and institutional investors in the sale of real property, including subdivisions, office properties, shopping center properties and others.

Her work has included the acquisition and assistance in the asset management of property throughout California and in a number of other states throughout the United States.

Pat assists residential developers with the development of common interest subdivisions, including the preparation of CC&Rs and other management documents in order to comply with California Department of Real Estate requirements.

Pat has represented Sutter Health in real estate matters for 20 years, including the acquisition of real property for hospital and medical office building projects, ground leasing of property, leasing of space within medical office buildings and other matters.

Pat has assisted many of the firm’s public agency clients, including cities and counties, in the acquisition of real property and the development of property, including documentation of multi-agency ownership of office properties.

She advises clients, including buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants on hazardous waste issues and assists in the resolution of those issues. Her clients include developers, institutional investors, health care providers, public entities, private landowners and others.
