Erinn M. Lopez | Senior Attorney

Professional Experience

Erinn joined McDonough Holland & Allen PC in 2008 as a senior attorney in the firm’s Public Law practice group. Her practice is focused on transactional matters with an emphasis on redevelopment, real estate, land use, and affordable housing for public agencies and private entities.

Prior to joining the firm, Erinn practiced for several years as a senior attorney for the Redevelopment Agency of the City and County of San Francisco and practiced transactional commercial real estate with the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP.

Erinn’s public agency and land use experience includes drafting and negotiating disposition and development agreements, owner participation agreements, easements, leases and agreements for development of former military bases. Erinn also has experience in the transfer of former military bases and environmentally remediated land. She has advised public agencies on issues related to CEQA compliance, design review and approval procedures, state and federal relocation laws, state lands, plan amendment, affordable housing and infrastructure financing.

Erinn’s transactional real estate experience includes representing institutional lenders and investors in complex portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases.

Negotiated and drafted disposition and development agreement for vertical development of a former military base

Represented public agency in acquisition of first phase of former military base and subsequent transfer of lands to a private developer

Negotiated and drafted omnibus amendment to disposition and development agreement for horizontal development of a former military base

Negotiated and drafted various owner participation agreements and amendments

Commercial Transactional Real Estate

Represented a real estate investment company in acquisition of two million square foot multi-state industrial portfolio

Represented real estate investment company in nationwide acquisition of approximately 860,000 square feet of commercial office space

Represented institutional investor in its nationwide loan funded acquisition of assisted living and skilled nursing facilities

Represented a national banking association in originating various loans for its conduit lending program

Represented various internet start-up and pre-IPO companies in commercial leasing and subleasing transactions

Represented publicly traded company in its proposed acquisition of the assets of a telecommunications company
