McDonough Holland & Allen PC provides guidance to public agencies on their telecommunications strategy and represents them in negotiations with telecom providers.

Our attorneys work with individual cities and counties throughout Northern California as well as groups of cities and counties to provide all entities with unified telecom service solutions, including negotiating dedicated fiber networks linking their facilities.

In addition, we serve as general counsel for the Sacramento Metropolitan Cable Television Commission, a joint powers agency that administers the cable television franchises for Sacramento County and the cities within the County. Among other projects, we worked with the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) to explore the deployment of broadband in the Sacramento region.
